Disabilities & the President's Challenge

Anyone can benefit from staying active through the President's Challenge - no matter what your age or ability level.

Disabilities shouldn't limit the things you enjoy doing. A little flexibility, along with adaptive or customized equipment, can make almost any activity possible. Swimming, horseback riding, cycling, waterskiing, even rock climbing. That goes for people with physical, cognitive or developmental disabilities.

As with anyone beginning a new fitness program, safety is paramount. You should always consult a physician before you get started. You may also want to talk to a trained fitness instructor.
